Dave informed me this week that there likely won’t be any IMPLANTS coming because they’ve figured out a way to have the chip communicate with the brain without having it inside, or directly connected, or something like that, more wireless, I guess, or maybe they’ll hang around our necks like pendants, although where’s the safety factor then? How can we keep track of our babies if they don’t have implants…

No, they’ll be 2 separate things. Implants as geolocators, plus the outside device … we’ll only need one by then. No more of this carrying around my laptop, and my BlackBerry, and my camera and my ipod and my wallet, bank card and ID, and my cheesecake.
